What is a Book?

Chapter Four

To most people existing in our modern times .. a “Book” consists of several pages of paper .. which may be blank for accountants or printed for education. The background history of what a “Book” is .. is quite interesting and for the purpose of answering the question .. “What is a Book?” .. we need to understand it’s original definition. A quick look at Wikipedia will elaborate on how this evolved over many years.

“A book is a medium for recording information in the form of writing or images. Modern books are typically in codex format, composed of many pages that are bound together and protected by a cover; they were preceded by several earlier formats, including the scroll and the tablet.”

Imagine coming upon a clay tablet with the ancient writing of cuneiform impressed into it’s surface. It would take considerable time and study before being able to understand what information was being recorded there.

Have you ever wondered how our Creator would write a Book? What would our Creator’s handwriting look like? What language would it be written in?

The “Book of Nature” .. a living book .. has been recording information since time began .. infinitely and much of it is preserved between layers of rock .. like pages stacked on top of each other .. galaxies floating in space .. filled with stars and planets. When we look at the cross-section of a tree .. we can learn the age of the tree and the number of good years and bad years as far as the weather and other growing conditions .. even preserving a record of fires. It seems odd to us that the “Book of Nature” is writing its own information .. but we know this is true.

Even the DNA of humans, animals, and plants document a history of the intercourse of species and along with preserved artifacts detail a picture of migration over the whole earth. Seashells and reef corals too record the life of their occupants.

Manmade books are vastly inferior to the one bound by our Creator.

This brings me to an important realization .. meaning no disrespect to the various cultures that make up earth’s population .. our “holy books” .. cannot match the handiwork and craftmanship of our Creator .. in the “Book of Nature”.

Sometimes I am met with the objection that Nature has been degraded by sin and cannot be trusted. I’m not sure what is being referred to .. because the “Book of Nature” .. just like the Christian Bible has recorded many bad deeds. However, when the Bible or any ruling government or educational matrix system presents an idea that doesn’t match that which is recorded in the “Book of Nature” .. I will stand by what I read .. written by the hand of our Creator. Right now .. as I spell these words .. Christians are teaching their children that “reindeer fly through the air pulling a sled full of toys for good little girls and boys.” Look around you in the “Book of Nature” .. study it well .. do you see any reindeer flying through the air??? In all of Creation .. do you see any creatures having an “Immaculate Conception” or a “Virgin Birth?”

You know full well .. that if your own virgin daughter .. were to present her pregnancy as being purely the result of “God” .. not artificial insemination .. or the wit of a neighborhood lad .. that the “Book of Nature” .. would be yelling in your ears!!!

Yet .. many stand in defense of a story that contradicts the information in Nature! Why do we defend a story that Creation does not confirm?

Not too long ago .. my wife went on a Caribbean Cruise Ship vacation with her daughter and friends. Being concerned about storms at sea .. she began to learn about ship protocol in the event of a hurricane or rough seas. I told her she should pull out her Bible and read from Matthew 14:22-33 .. I’m sure everything will be okay .. but notice where the life preservers and boats are located .. just in case you aren’t spiritual enough!!!

No person has walked on the liquid surface of the water .. to the safety of the shore .. after a boat sank in the ocean!!!

No winery has purchased a water source expecting to turn it into wine .. except through the vine of the grape! No person has fed 5,000 people with a child’s lunch .. and still collected 12 baskets of leftovers!!! These and other such stories are false .. according to the “Book of Nature” written by the Almighty’s own hand!!!

Many people will say that the Bible was inspired by God .. maybe some of it .. but isn’t the “Book of Nature” more inspired .. more truthful .. more realistic? During this Christmas season .. there are many people who will be teaching their children the story of Santa Claus .. and the story of Jesus .. their homes will be lighted for the occasion .. their hearts warmed by ale of the din .. while innocent men, women, and children .. are oppressed, beaten down, slaughtered under the jackboot of the red, white, and blue.

Please do not assume that you know where these stories began! Their origin is hidden, buried, and secret .. for a reason. Do you know who actually pulling the strings? The many institutions of the Matrix are designed to lead us all astray! It is not fun to walk away .. prisoners love the company .. freedom does come at an emotional cost!

It’s been several months since my last post. I was originally thinking about writing about another topic related to this .. but then I felt it was more important to point out how much more truth there is recorded in the “Book of Nature”. We can’t find a more authentic book of truth than that which our first parents were placed in The Garden .. written by our Creator.
